Y-films’ edgy reboot of Shah Rukh Khan’s classic thriller is something we are all dying to see. A teaser of the show was released a couple of months back showing a mysterious protagonist stalking his prey online before uttering the classic dialogue: “I love you K…K…Kiran.” No update on the release date so far but we are hoping for an exciting announcement on that front soon.

It’s a really exciting, big budget original series produced by Farhan, for Amazon Prime Video. The show stars Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha in key roles and is expected to release around mid-2017 (April/May) probably around the same time as IPL 10.
Launched in 2016, Viacom 18’s digital platform – Voot – gave us some really fun and entertaining original shows like Chinese Bhasad, Shaadi Boys and It’s Not That Simple. Now the platform is all set to kick off the new year with their latest comedy-drama series, Untag, which releases online this Wednesday, January 4. Click here to know more about the upcoming show.

Alt Balaji’s Untitled Web Series Starring Rajkummar Rao
When an acclaimed actor like Rajkummar Rao (Shahid, Aligarh) is involved, you know you can look forward to something special. This yet-to-be-titled web series, produced by Ekta Kapoor and set to stream on her soon-to-be-launched app Alt Balaji, is a biopic of sorts on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Rajkummar will play the freedom fighter in this series, which according to Ekta is, “fast paced” and “everything you don’t expect it to be.” Filming for the series is yet to begin. It is expected to release sometime later this year.
