Permanent Roommates Season 2 finale is out and it does not disappoint! The episode titled ‘The Attempt’ is wonderfully written, directed and performed by the talented folks at TVF. If I were to describe the episode in one word, it would be: Bittersweet.

The finale episode deals with the aftermath of Tankesh losing their unborn baby. One month has passed (since the last episode) and Mikesh and Tanya are trying to deal with the loss in their own different ways. While Tanya has immersed herself in work, Mikesh is trying to keep her spirits up by putting up a brave, jovial front. However, we can see that they are both hurting inside.

The entire episode, which features just Mikesh and Tanya, keeps shifting between the past and present as the couple revisit their first date.

Meanwhile, during an exclusive interview with Tubescoop, actor Sumeet Vyas (who plays Mikesh) shared some interesting updates on Season 3 of Permanent Roommates.

“Honestly, I don’t think anyone has any idea about what we are going to do in the next season, but I’ve told them [TVF] that we MUST go abroad– to Greece or someplace and shoot (laughs), because that’ll be next level. So, let’s see.”

Sumeet then went on to confirm that Season 3 for the show is “100 percent happening,” as he feels there’s a lot more to this story.

“When I saw the second episode, I called Bisso [writer Biswapati Sarkar] and I said, ‘I feel like there’s more to this story and I think we have potential to have a longer run with this, so let’s not drive the story in a direction where we get stuck. It’ll be nice if we can prolong it for a few more seasons, we can grow old with this thing.’”

We also asked him when we can expect to see Season 3, to which he replied, “It will definitely be after TVF Pitchers Season 2. So, it may happen around mid-2017.”
