All’s well that doesn’t ends well. The season finale of A.I.SHA My Virtual Girlfriend released last night to an encouraging response from fans and viewers. The dark, cyberpunk web series ended on a cliffhanger, which means we’ll have to wait for Season 2 to find out how things unfold now.
Here’s the bad news – it’ll take at least a year before Season 2 of the series is ready to stream. Good news is that we’ll keep getting sneak peeks into how Season 2 is shaping up.
In the finale video (below), after the episode ends, actors/writers Raghu Ram and Harmanjeet Singha are seen talking about plans for Season 2. “Abhi toh kaam shuru hua hai hamara, we have to start work on it again. Now Harman and I are going to sit down and write the story for the second season,” says Raghu.
He adds, “We’ll come back, very soon…we’re writing it [Season 2] and kaafi ideas aa chuke hain…” Harman and Raghu also promise that they’ll keep fans updated on the production status of A.I.SHA Season 2 by releasing “slight sneak peeks” of the work as it progresses.
