Priyanka Chopra is truly an international superstar. And while we’re still struggling to understand how the prolific star manages to juggle multiple roles in her career, her Mumbai-based production house – Purple Pebble Pictures – has already completed shooting a 7-minute short film titled ‘Ek Khoobsoorat Ittefaq.’
The film, starring TV actors Shashank Vyas (Balika Vadhu) and Adaa Khan (Naagin), is reportedly the first in a series of short films that the company has planned for its foray into online entertainment.
According to Mid-Day, the film revolves around a boy and a girl who meet at a party, and the coincidences that follow over the course of that night. It’s unclear what genre the film belongs to and as per an insider, “Those associated with the project have been asked to keep mum.”
Incidentally, this is not Priyanka’s first venture in the digital entertainment space. Earlier this year, the actress co-produced an Indian mobi-series titled “It’s My City” for video entertainment mobile app, nexGTv.
However, this time around she couldn’t be as closely involved. Obviously her work commitments in US are keeping her super busy. Her mother, Madhu Chopra and aunt, Neela Akhuri are supervising the project. When asked to share some details about the film, Akhuri said: “We do not want to talk about the short film at this stage. We have plans lined up for the web and we will talk about it at the right time.”
