You know, one of the coolest things about Nakuul Mehta’s satirical 2016 web series – I Don’t Watch TV – was that it genuinely was something else. It didn’t focus on roommates, live-in relationships, ‘coming-of-age’ shit…none of that mainstream, predictable stuff! It was just plain random, quirky, humorous and it somewhat filled that big Entourage-sized void in our lives.

No wonder we’re super excited about the next one.

Gangster Newton – is the new web series by the makers behind I Don’t Watch TV and it looks kickass. The show is “Science Meets Underworld” according to the makers and judging by the trailer, which released today, they’ve definitely got another winner on their hands.

The series stars Titli actor Shashank Arora in the lead role – a young genius who gets mixed up with the underworld.

“Gangster Newton is a quirky show, absolutely different from what you see on the web space. It’s about a genius who survives and thrives in the underworld purely by the only skill he has — Science,” actor/ producer Nakuul Mehta told the press.

Gangster Newton will release and stream on the YouTube channel – Timbuktu Films. Watch this space for more details and interviews. Meanwhile, check out the trailer below.
