Bollywood actors Ali Fazal and Lauren Gottlieb will soon be seen together in a short film called TriyaCharitra. The duo recently finished shooting for the film.
The 10-12-minute short film, which will release on YouTube, will feature Ali and Lauren as a couple who meet on a blind date for the first time. However, what they discover about each other in that one night, changes their lives forever, reports The Indian Express. The short film was filmed on the outskirts of Mumbai. You can watch an on-set video, below.
Ali seems to be steadily building an interesting body of work in the digital entertainment space. Last year, he starred in the hit Yash Raj web series Bang Baaja Baaraat and will soon be seen in the same production company’s upcoming web series, Sex Chat with Pappu and Papa.
The actor is also reportedly working on another web series based on the Goan mafia. However, there has been no update on that front for quite a while now.
Lauren spoke about the burgeoning digital and online entertainment scene in India, during an earlier chat with TubeScoop, saying that she is open to starring in web series.
“I think it’s great the online entertainment scene is building in India. I believe the future is digital content. I would definitely be open to starring in a web series. I have 2 under my belt from my days in Hollywood.”
